Overview
The audience step is the first encounter with what's unique about creating campaigns in Paragone vs. the native ads manager.
In Paragone, you're able to create multiple audiences at once, by changing/duplicating only sub-sections of the audience, instead of all of it (as you usually do in native ads managers).
We'll go over the different sections within this step, so you'll know how to get the most of this unique feature.
Section: Audience Setup
This is the main section where you define your targeting. You can define various targeting categories, such as :
Country
Age
Gender
Languages
Advanced Targeting
Interests
Custom Audiences
Placements
Platform
Device type
Operating System
Duplicating specific targeting categories
By clicking the "plus" icon next to each category, you can create another variation of that category, and an additional audience will be created automatically.
For example, you can split by Male vs. Female, various age groups, languages and more. This will allow you to create dozens of various audiences within seconds.
Each time you add a variation of a targeting category, the number of audiences will multiply.
For example -
Create your first audience (Number of audiences= 1)
Click "plus" on the gender category (Number of audiences= 2)
Audience for male
Audience for female
Clicks "plus" on the age category (Number of audiences= 4)
Audience for male, age group 1
Audience for male, age group 2
Audience for female, age group 1
Audience for female, age group 2
Section: Audience Set
In this section you'll see all the audience that are ready to be added to your audience list. These are not the created audiences, but just a temporary set of audience combinations you created in your audience setup section.
You can view the details of each audience and remove specific ones from this list, before adding it all to the selected audiences section.
Section: Selected Audiences
When clicking "Add audiences", they will be added to this section. These are the final audiences that will be used for targeting, each its own ad set.
You can perform certain actions on these audiences, such as:
Rename - This will rename the created audience, but will be overwritten if you use a naming strategy later on
Edit - This will input the audience details into the audience setup section, so you can edit it
Save - Saving this audience in the audience library for repeated use
Duplicate - Duplicating the audience
Add Label - Adding Labels for the audience for quick filtering
Section: Audience Header
Here you'll find several options:
